Wine Spotlight: Chateau de Breze

This wine has been with us off and on since we opened. It is a lovely, restrained Cab Franc from Saumur region of Loire that is both classic of wines from that region and yet unique. On top of a great wine it comes from a crazy, amazing house in France! Here are a couple of links - check out the castle. CRAZY! 

And when the weather turns cooler I always want to have it close by. It tastes of black cherry and dark fruit with nice tannins to keep you warm, then has a cool, minty/menthol exhale. It is uncanny how much this makes me think of cool fall mornings. I love this wine. We have it by the glass for $11. Swing by. Let me know what you think.
