Spring 2024 wine club pick up

Our "new" wine is the 2016 Rogue Valley Syrah. We kept this wine in bottle for a couple extra years in order to let it unwind a bit and show some more of the secondary notes. Right now it is showing cassis and blackberry along with tobacco, cedar and a bit of that meaty/gamy note. The wine is silky but has a bit of tannin backbone that gives a dusty note on the finish. 

For club pick up we will have two options for you. Regardless of what you pick, all the wines will be coming from Sam's Valley Vineyard down in the Rogue. 

First is the expression of Syrah. This is a way to taste the differences between the years. Cost is $166 for members. The pick up will include:

• 2013 Rogue Syrah (1 bottle) 

• 2014 Rogue Syrah (1 bottle) 

• 2017 Rogue Syrah (1 bottle) 

• 2016 Rogue Syrah (3 bottles) 

The second is the expression of the vintage. A way to examine what 2016 at Sam's Valley had to offer. Cost is $153 for members. The pick up will include:

• 2016 Rogue Syrah (4 bottles)

• 2016 Rogue Cabernet Franc (2 bottles)

Since these are library wines - we are limited on the number of Syrah verticles available. So it will be a first-come basis.
