APRIL 2017 SELECTION : ST ALBANS

Pick up Party Date: Thursday, April 20th, 6:30pm at Cyril's.

The Basics:

We have enjoyed perfectly ripened little cheeses from Vermont Creamery before- way back in the earlier days of cheese club we got a trio of cheeses called Coupole, Cremont, and Bonne Bouche. This is the latest in their collection of small format cheeses inspired by European classics. St Albans is Vermont Creamery's interpretation of the French cow's milk cheese called Saint Marcellin made in the Rhone Alps. 

Our favorite thing to do with these adorable ramekins is to pop them in the oven for ten minutes or so, until the cheeses becomes warm and molten--perfect for spooning onto crisp crostini.

Note that each participant getting cheese this month will get three pieces of St Albans.

Levels of Membership available this month:

Just Trying it on ($10): Come to the pick up party (Thursday, April 20th at 6:30pm), taste and learn about the cheese and see if our cheese club is something you want to try next month. Supporting the Cyril's cheese club at this level also earns you a vote for future cheese we will feature.

Just Cheese, No Party ($26): This level of membership gets you three pieces of St Albans- a delightful little cow's milk disk matured to perfection and packaged in a clay ramekin. If you want to come to the pick up party (Thursday, April 20th at 6:30pm) please see "One pound, one person" or "One pound, two people".

Cheese plus One Person ($31): This level of membership gets you three pieces of St Albans- a delightful little cow's milk disk matured to perfection and packaged in a clay ramekin. This level of membership includes an invitation for one to join us at the pick up party (Thursday, April 20th at 6:30pm) where you can learn about the cheese, taste, and experience pairings. Cheese plus Two People ($36): This level of membership gets you three pieces of St Albans- a delightful little cow's milk disk matured to perfection and packaged in a clay ramekin. This level of membership also includes an invitation for you and one guest to join us at the pick up party (Thursday, April 20th at 6:30pm) where you can learn about the cheese, taste, and experience pairings.
